| PETER BROWN |
My favourite female artist is still Lily Allen. I had to take my daughters to her concert as cover!
I drive an ageing (yes like me) Volvo C70 convertible proudly displaying a South African flag as a bumper sticker (I was born there).
My hobby is photography. I have three pre-teen to teenage daughters. Being outnumbered four to one at home is worse than it sounds……help!
I enjoy jokes generally and have a silly sense of humour, rarely shared by others. I enjoy the adrenalin rush of a complex and successful deal. For those who think I am a workaholic, I assure you that I would prefer to lounge by a beach bar somewhere very hot. I try to manage by example: I make a wicked cuppa tea. |

| SUE CLARK |
I have worked in "the Law"
for almost all my working life, specialising
in Residential Conveyancing and lease extension work. I have spent the past
21 years working with Peter Brown in this firm and
previous firms. I took time out to work in Human Resources,
but quickly returned to Law.
When I am not working, I spend time with my family and although my two Sons have well and truly "flown the nest" I now have the pleasure of two grandsons aged 7yrs and 5yrs who keep me young! I therefore have all of the fun and none of the stress because I can hand them back at the end of the day!
When time allows, I also enjoy creative pursuits such as interior and garden design, and floral arrangements. Living in the country also brings with it the benefit of wonderful restaurants and country pubs. I enjoy nothing better than “chilling out” with good friends, sampling the excellent food and wine on offer at these establishments – I’m slowly working my way around Beds, Herts and Bucks in my “Quest for the Best”– it’s a tough life, but someone has to do it!!! |

| JOHN DRESNER |
I moved from the public sector to private practice in 1999. This proved quite a culture shock at first and I still remember the days when I could read a newspaper cover to cover with a certain degree of nostalgia.
I have a mixed bag of residential and commercial property matters with a sprinkling of wills and probate.
As for outside interest I try and keep up with modern music; my sons act as specialist advisors in this regard, but I always seem to graduate towards tastes established when I was 18 such as folk/rock and new wave. I am also a big footie fan and still manage to play 5 a side regularly on Sunday mornings with other geriatrics (sorry guys). |

ROBERT ROBINSON |
Robert is a consultant specialising in commercial property. After learning his trade in the 1970s in a small niche practice specialising in international litigation in the Inns of Court, Robert spent a number of years with an old-established outer London firm specialising initially in litigation but increasingly developing an interest in property.
In the mid 1980s he joined Evill & Coleman in Putney and served as a partner there dealing with property transactions and property-related litigation until 1992. Deciding to move on, initially with the plan of starting his own practice, he was persuaded to join Armstrong & Co in South London where he served as a partner until 2004.
After a year or so pursuing interests outside the law, he began to miss the mental stimulation and returned to doing consultancy work on an occasional basis. Having assisted Peter Brown & Co on a number of occasions in that capacity he was finally goaded into joining the firm on a full-time basis in October 2007 and now has no plans to do anything else”. |

ALAN MAGNUS |
From an early age I always knew I wanted to be involved in the law. I qualified as a solicitor in September 2003, having carried out my training contract at a small private practice in London WC2.
After a couple of years in Harrow and Chiswick, I joined Peter Brown & Co in September 2005. I specialise in residential property transactions with a particular emphasis on new build properties and also now deal increasingly with commercial property matters. When allowed home I enjoy spending time with my family, watching and playing football, running, listening to music and travelling. |
